Any holder of a .co.uk domain name has until 06:00 BST (05:00 UTC) on the 25th June 2019 to register their currently reserved, shorter, .uk domain equivalent.
After this date, any unclaimed rights for the shorter .uk domain names will expire, and the shorter domains will not be available for registration until the 1st July 2019 – when ANYBODY can apply for registration.
Some UK businesses will fail to register their shorter .UK domain equivalent even though they may have exclusive rights to it at the moment. This failure could lead to great embarrassment when perhaps a competitor acquires the shorter domain.
QiQ, a Nominet Accredited domain supplier, is making the shorter .UK domain available at zero cost for 12 months if they also supply the .CO.UK equivalent.
Save the embarrassment and get in touch with QiQ at [email protected] now to secure your shorter domain at no cost for the first 12 months.
